DELL COUNTRY MILE
ABOUT THE DELL COUNTRY MILE
What: 5th Annual Dell Country Mile 5K run or one-mile fun run/walk.
​
When: October 20, 2018. Both the one-mile walk/run and 5k (the 1 mile course offers a clean and muddy course option) will start at 9:00 a.m.
​
Age: All ages are welcome. Children younger than 16 must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian. Children 5 and under are free.
​
Where: Dell Brothers Grain, 903 Sullivan Road, Westminster, MD
​
Cost: Both the one-mile walk/run and 5k cost $25 per person if registered by October 18, or $35 if registering the day of the event. Children 5 and under are free.
​
Packet Pick-up: 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m., October 20, 2018 at 903 Sullivan Road, Westminster, MD (race location).
​
Sponsorships: Gina's Warriors are hosting this event and accepting sponsorships for the run. All proceeds will go directly to Gina's Warriors, the Comfort Fund, the Tommy Dell Scholarship Fund, and the Tree of Friends Foundation.

Our Philosophy
It is wide-open country land where you can just come run and enjoy the country scenery. And you are helping out people who really need our help right now. We enjoy having everyone come here to run these trails and courses. It is beautiful. You can run or walk, and you can bring your kids. It's a family event and a way to remind your kids that no matter what you are going through it could be worse.

Our History
Lindsay and Doug Dell came up with the idea for the run four years ago to help Gina Barnes, a mother of three that their oldest son, Garrett, was in class with. Gina was battling cancer at the time, and the Dells wanted to help. The Dell Bros. farm offers wide-open country land where you can just come run and enjoy the country scenery, knowing that you're helping out those who need our help.
